BYU Football VS Heritage Basketball

During the NBA All Star weekend, Heritage took a break from the regular basketball season to participate in its own All Star activities. These activities included shooting and skills contests, as well as special visitors to our campus. Corby Eason, (you remember Corby-- former BYU Defensive Back interning at Heritage) invited current members of the BYU Football Team to Heritage. These team members, led by starting quarterback, Riley Nelson, played against the Heritage Boys Basketball All Stars. About 15 football players came, and there were cool dunks, swift moves, and lots of good-natured ribbing.

In the second half of the game, the football team mixed with some Heritage students including one of the smallest students on campus, CK. BYU choose him to be on their team and gave him one of their enormous football jerseys to wear The most exciting part of the game was when the football team passed the ball to CK, made a open lane for him and cheered him on. CK then threw the ball, scoring two points. Everyone went crazy! All Star weekend was great experience. As for the BYU Division 1 Football Team? They are looking for a rematch and will be back for the Heritage Softball All Stars game.
